"Life seen through my Mobile phones eye"
The
photos in the series „Life seen through my Mobile phones eye“ are taken
with the camera in a Sony Ericsson Handy.
The reasons behind the series were discussions in the Norwegian media
around the use and misuse from Mobile phone cameras in modern phones.
The discussions were among others about mobbing of pupils on the
internet or sms in terms of videos and photos, the invitation from TV
channels to send in videos from accidents.
In the world we life in today we’ve got technical abilities we didn’t
know we would have only few years ago. This places us all in an ethical
dilemmas. Where the line between the private life of the individual and
the public interest? Which consequences does it have for people when I
publish pictures and videos of them?
“Life seen through my Mobile phones eye” is the attempt to use the
technical abilities of my own Mobile phone in a positive creative way.
